Right, it's finally here - this blog. The time has at last come for me not to feel super socially awkward about sharing my story. I'm finally ready to share it with you – raw, unfiltered, and unapologetically honest.
For those that don't know me, I shall give you a very brief and to the point introduction. I am Flo Knoyle, a Staffordshire based Equine Photographer (or should I say, CEO - Female Entrepreneur *cringe*) that covers the whole of the UK. 29 years old at the time of writing this, and I started this "little business" (ha!) 7 years ago. In all honesty, the first couple of years in business were pretty sh*t, not just in the business but in my personal life too... we shall delve into that through this blog.
As an Equine Portrait Photographer, my path has been anything but what most ‘horsey people’ expect. I think a lot of people that meet me think just another “posh white girl wanting to photograph pretty ponies”. That in fact, cannot be further from the truth. It's a tale of personal battles, of finding solace in the silent whispers of horses, and of drawing strength from their unspoken understanding. These experiences have shaped my vision, making me not just a horse photographer and storyteller (cliche much?), but someone that has learned to forge their own path, find her own confidence, and stand up for what I believe in - to the point it seems I have become like marmite.

Why I Do What I Do - Empowering the Unconventional Equestrian
Ultimately, this journey for me has been about empowerment – and now it's for empowering you; the fierce, authentically unapologetic equestrians. It's for those of you who've felt the sting of societal norms, the pain of cruelty from other human beings, and the longing for a photography experience that truly resonates with your soul. It's for those who seek someone who understands the profound bond with your Heart horse. I see you.
This blog is more than just sharing my knowledge; it’s about creating a space where you can be your true self. I promise to bring you stories that stir the soul, tips that help empower, and help prepare you for a dream equine photoshoot. It's definitely going to get raw and real at times - I have some very *interesting* blog posts up my sleeve ... I can't wait to embark on this journey with you, to explore the depths of our passion for horses, and to celebrate the beauty of being different, being bold, and being true to ourselves.
