📸 Black Background Equine photography Workshop with Percherons and Studio Lights 🎠💥 Join me on 31st August 2025 at Abbey Farm Equestrian, Matlock for an exclusive workshop focused on mastering black background photography, in natural light AND with the addition of professional continuous studio lighting. Whether you’re new to black backgrounds or want to take your equine portraits to the next level, this workshop is for you! Suitable for all levels of photographer, although a knowledge of Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop is strongly recommended to get the most out of the afternoon session. 📍 Where? Abbey Farm, Matlock, Derbyshire, UK 📅 When? 31st August 2025 (10:00am – 3:30pm with a lunch break) 🐴 SESSION 1: Percheron Power & Studio Lighting In the morning, we’ll be working with two stunning Percheron horses in their heavy horse plaits, Kolga Du Crétil & Whitelion Olivia. You’ll learn how to control light, position your subject, and create luxury equine portraits with depth, detail, and power. Not only this, but one horse is black, and one is white! The pair of them will teach you to get the most out of your camera’s dynamic range, and build your confidence photographing a black horse against a black background - nutoriously difficult… 💻 SESSION 2: Editing Masterclass After lunch, I’ll guide you through my editing process, showing you how to elevate your images from good to absolutely breathtaking. Cancellation Policy for Flo Knoyle Photography Courses and Workshops At Flo Knoyle Photography, I strive to offer a unique and high quality experience for all participants in my courses and workshops. To maintain this standard and ensure fairness, the following cancellation policy applies: Cancellation and Refund Policy 1. Non-Refundable Policy: All bookings for courses and workshops are non-refundable. Once a booking is made, participants are not entitled to any refund should they choose to cancel. 2. Transferability: - Participant Transfer: If you are unable to attend a booked course or workshop, you may transfer your booking to another individual. The new participant must meet any prerequisites or requirements for the course or workshop. - Notification Requirement: To transfer your booking, you must notify Flo Knoyle Photography in writing at least 7 days prior to the start date of the course or workshop. Please include the full name and contact details of the person to whom you are transferring your booking. - Approval: All transfers are subject to approval by Flo Knoyle Photography. We reserve the right to refuse a transfer if the new participant does not meet the required criteria. 3. Change of Date by Flo Knoyle Photography: - In the unlikely event that a course or workshop is rescheduled or cancelled by Flo Knoyle Photography, participants will be offered the option to transfer to the rescheduled date or to another course or workshop of equal value. - If neither option is suitable, a full refund will be provided. 4. In circumstances where events beyond our control prevent the course or workshop from taking place (such as natural disasters, health pandemics, or government restrictions), Flo Knoyle Photography will offer participants the opportunity to transfer their booking to a future date or alternative course/workshop. Refunds will not be provided in such cases.
